Our Story

My name is Steve. I live in San Clemente with my wife and our three boys in a small house close to the ocean. When our third son came along, moving inland crossed our minds — but it was never really a hard decision. The beach as our boys' backyard wasn't something we were willing to trade.

That choice changed how we saw everything inside those four walls. When you've consciously chosen to live without extra space, what you put on your walls starts to carry more weight. Every piece either earns its place or it doesn't belong.

Salt Projects grew out of that feeling. We work with local photographers and designers to create pieces inspired by the coast — its textures, its light, the rhythm of everyday life near the water. Simple, considered, and shaped by the way people actually live along the Southern California coast.

This isn't about filling space. It's about creating it.

Because we believe in choosing the beach over more square footage. In living with less, but better. And in surrounding yourself with things that quietly make a space feel right.
